Description
The Vitamin C Shower Filter uses ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to neutralise chlorine in your shower water. As water flows through the cartridge, vitamin C reacts with free chlorine and chloramine and converts them into harmless compounds. It works quickly, even in hot water, which makes it effective at the shower head where water passes through in seconds.
Many customers choose it for children and for people with sensitive or dry skin.
How the Vitamin C Shower Filter works
Carbon and KDF filters need contact time and lose some performance in hot water. Vitamin C reacts almost instantly with chlorine regardless of temperature. The cartridge slowly dissolves as it works, so it is replaced on a schedule. Some cartridges include natural fragrances such as lemon or lavender for a pleasant shower experience.

Good to know
A Vitamin C Shower Filter targets chlorine. It does not remove hardness or heavy sediment. For scale problems, a water softener is the right choice, and for dirty tank water, a whole-house sediment filter helps.
