Description
The Zero-Waste Under-Sink Purifier uses a 0.01 micron ultrafiltration (UF) membrane plus carbon stages to clean drinking water without electricity and without any reject water. Unlike reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration does not remove dissolved salts, so natural minerals remain in the water. It is an efficient, low-maintenance option where the incoming water already has acceptable TDS.
What it removes, and what it does not
The 0.01 µm membrane physically blocks bacteria, cysts, rust, silt and turbidity, and the carbon stages reduce chlorine, taste and odour. It does not reduce dissolved salts, hardness or nitrates. That makes the Zero-Waste Under-Sink Purifier ideal for good-quality network water, but not for high-TDS tanker or well water, where RO is needed.
