Description
The Alkaline Mineral Cartridge is an inline filter that adds healthy minerals back into purified water. Reverse osmosis removes almost all dissolved solids, including calcium and magnesium. Some people find RO water tastes flat as a result. This cartridge contains a blend of mineral media that slowly dissolves into the water, raising the mineral content and pH so it tastes closer to good-quality bottled water.
It is the easiest way to upgrade a standard 5-stage RO to a 6-stage mineral RO system.
What the Alkaline Mineral Cartridge does
- Adds calcium and magnesium to RO water

Mineral media inside
The cartridge contains a blend of natural mineral media such as calcite, magnesium-based media and mineral ceramic balls. Exact blends vary by model. As water flows through, small amounts of minerals dissolve, which lifts the pH and total dissolved solids slightly. The effect is gentle and stable, and the water stays clear.

Replacement interval
