Description
The FRP Pressure Vessel 1354 is a 13-inch by 54-inch fibreglass-reinforced media tank for water treatment. Compared with the 1054, it holds roughly 70% more media, so it can serve higher flow rates and larger homes. It is built with a seamless polyethylene liner wound in glass fibre and resin, making it strong, light and completely rust-free, ideal for the hot and humid conditions in Oman.

Construction and benefits
The inner polyethylene liner is the only part in contact with water. Glass fibre filament wound around it gives high burst strength, and a moulded base keeps the vessel upright. FRP vessels do not corrode, need no internal coating and weigh far less than steel. That makes installation easier in villa pump rooms and on rooftops.

Service flow guide
As a rough guide, the FRP Pressure Vessel 1354 handles service flows of about 2 to 3.5 m³/h, depending on the media and application. Softeners can run near the upper end, while carbon filters need lower flow for proper contact time. We calculate the right vessel size from your measured water quality and peak demand.

Installation tips
Place the vessel on a level, solid floor in shade. Allow headroom above for the valve and for loading media. Fill gravel and media through a funnel with the riser tube capped, then fit the valve and backwash thoroughly before service.

Can I upgrade from 1054 to 1354? Yes, using the same 2.5-inch valve. You will need more media and possibly a larger brine tank for softeners.
