Description
The Tankless RO System 400 GPD is a compact under-sink water purifier that produces reverse osmosis water directly on demand. Instead of filling a pressure tank and storing water, it uses a high-flow membrane and a built-in pump to purify water the moment you open the faucet. That saves cabinet space and means every glass is freshly filtered.
It suits modern apartments and villas in Oman where kitchen cabinet space is tight.
Why choose a Tankless RO System?
Traditional RO units store purified water in a metal tank. Over time that water can lose pressure and the tank needs sanitising. A Tankless RO System removes the tank completely. The benefits are practical:
- Fresh water at the tap, not water that has been sitting in storage
- Faster flow than most tank-based systems, around 1 litre per minute (typical at 400 GPD)
- About half the cabinet space of a standard 5-stage RO
- Better recovery, so less reject water goes to drain
- Twist-off cartridges that can be changed in seconds without tools

How it purifies water
Water first passes through a composite pre-filter (sediment and carbon) that removes sand, rust, chlorine and odour. A built-in booster pump then pushes it through a 400 GPD RO membrane, which removes dissolved salts, heavy metals, nitrates, bacteria and viruses. A final post carbon filter polishes the taste before the water reaches your faucet.
The front panel shows filter-life and status indicators so you know when a cartridge is due for replacement.

Where the Tankless RO System works best
This unit is popular in apartments in Al Khuwair, Qurum, Bausher and Al Mouj, where kitchens are compact and owners want a clean, modern look. It also works well in small offices and clinics that need fast drinking water without a large dispenser.
If you have very high TDS well water, ask us about higher-rated systems in our reverse osmosis systems range.
Maintenance and filter changes
The composite pre-filter is usually changed every 6 to 12 months, the post carbon every 12 months, and the RO membrane every 2 to 3 years. Because the cartridges twist out from the front, a filter change takes a few minutes. Farz Water keeps replacement cartridges in stock in Muscat. You can read more about reverse osmosis on Wikipedia.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Tankless RO System need electricity? Yes. The built-in pump needs a standard socket under the sink.
Is the flow strong enough for cooking? Yes. At around 1 litre per minute it fills a kettle or cooking pot quickly.
Can it handle tanker water? In most cases, yes. We test TDS first and confirm the membrane is suitable.
