Description
The Membrane Flush Kit adds a flush valve to the drain line of a home RO system. In normal operation, the flow restrictor keeps pressure on the membrane. Opening the flush valve bypasses the restrictor for a short time, so a high-velocity stream of water sweeps across the membrane surface and carries loose deposits to drain. Regular flushing slows down scaling and fouling, helping the membrane last longer.
