Description
The RO Membrane Cleaner Acidic is a low-pH clean-in-place chemical for reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes. It dissolves inorganic deposits such as calcium carbonate scale, iron and manganese oxides and other metal hydroxides that build up on the membrane surface, especially in the last elements of a plant. Removing this scale restores permeate flow, lowers feed pressure and improves salt rejection.
When to use an acidic cleaner
- Salt passage increasing, especially in the second stage
