Description
The Water Softener 1465 is a high-capacity automatic water softener built on a 14 x 65 inch fibreglass (FRP) resin vessel. The tall vessel holds a deep resin bed, so it can handle higher flow rates and longer runs between regenerations than our 1054 and 1354 models. It is designed for properties where hard water causes scale in many outlets at once.
Typical sites include large villas with staff quarters, small apartment buildings, cafés, restaurants, salons, gyms and laundries across Oman.
How the Water Softener 1465 works
Hard water enters the vessel and passes down through the cation resin. Calcium and magnesium are exchanged for sodium, and soft water leaves through the riser tube to the outlet. When the resin capacity is used up, the automatic valve backwashes the bed, draws brine from the salt tank, rinses and returns to service. With metered regeneration, salt is used only after the set volume of water has been treated.
